Important Notice.....

Due to a Server Move by Our ISP several things were lost from the months of March. This includes all postings made in March, new user registrations done in March, account setting changes done in March. Unfortunately anything you did here in March is gone at this point.

Please re-register if you can't log in. Please rest assured you weren't deleted on purpose.

We're very sorry this happened and if we can get the March data back you will be advised. Thanks.

Oakers:

It has been a long and tedious road to this moment. Vicki, Sandy and I want to thank each of you for your patience and support.

The new site is much more powerful than the original site with tons more space. The format is different…we no longer have the compact threads we had, where every post was tightly listed/nested one under the other…but I believe that once you have spent a little time exploring The “New” Oak and see the new tools you have to assist you in posting comments, photos, etc., you will like it.

We are developing a FAQ page that will help you navigate the site. If you have questions, post them and, together, we will figure out how everything works.

Without further ado, here is The Oak Factory!

VIDEO ON THE OAK!
The OAK VIDEOS is the newest addition to our new site at The Oak Factory. At this time, any video with topics of woodworking projects or techniques, shop tours or tool demonstrations will be approved for publication.

With today’s digital cameras and readily available editing software, most anyone can produce a short video suitable for streaming online. If you have questions about anything relating to the video feature or the making of a video, post it on the “New Users and Features Forum” and together we will find the answer.

We look forward to seeing your woodworking projects, shops and new tools in video format.

**Set up your video camera on a tripod and film some part of any project you are working on...then share it! Let's see what you are up to! Editing is optional. If you keep the camera rolling, you will soon have a series! **
